Michael Kircher is an American photographer based in the Washington, DC region. His photography brings to life his fascination with the natural world and humanity’s place in it. On an ever evolving photographic journey, he is equally at home on city streets and back country trails. 

Kircher has completed assignments for magazines such as National Parks, Maryland Life and Montgomery Magazine. His photographic essays have appeared in online publications BurnMagazine.org and
American-Journal.com. His images have appeared in numerous non-profit publications
and in January 2014 he was published in Granta Magazine.
